What Is a Multimedia AI Box for CarPlay?
A Multimedia AI Box — also called a CarPlay AI Box, MMB Box, or wireless CarPlay adapter box — is a small plug-in device that connects to your car's factory USB or HDMI port and adds a complete Android operating system to your existing OEM infotainment screen.
Unlike a head unit replacement, a CarPlay AI box requires zero modification to your car's wiring. Your existing factory screen, steering wheel controls, knob controls, and touchscreen buttons all continue to work exactly as before — the MMB Box simply runs in parallel, giving you access to a much richer set of apps and features.
